RETURN TO THE HEART

A true story about pain, loss, forgiveness, and unconditional love. A deeply personal journey that invites you to stop running from the past, look within, and find your way back to the heart.

About this book

My daughter lived for only three days. Three days that left a mark for a lifetime. She left me something I could not yet understand at the time, unconditional love. A love that, many years later, would help me see my own story differently and find a path toward forgiveness.

Return to the Heart was born from that journey.

A True Story

I did not write Return to the Heart to tell the story of a perfect life. I wrote it because there were moments in my life that caused me profound pain.

Loss, wounds, fear, and questions that remained unanswered for years were all part of that journey. And in the midst of it all, a little girl who was with me for only three days planted a seed that would take me many years to understand.

Over time, I discovered that some experiences do not come into our lives to stay.

They come to transform us.

From Pain to Forgiveness

For a long time, we can carry what others have done to us, what we have lost, and even the things we do not know how to forgive ourselves for.

But there comes a moment when continuing to run away hurts more than looking within.

My journey taught me that forgiveness does not mean erasing the past. Nor does it mean denying what caused us pain.

It means no longer allowing the past to decide our future.

When I was able to look at my story from a different perspective, something began to change.

I began to return to myself.

Why Return to the Heart

After searching outside myself for answers, I realized there was one place I still needed to return to.

My own heart.

This book speaks of pain, but it does not seek to remain in pain. It speaks of loss, but also of love. It speaks of wounds, but above all, of the possibility of transforming them.

It is the story of a woman who had to journey through her own past to discover that even from what once seemed impossible to understand, a new light could emerge.

Returning to the heart meant learning to see what I had lived through differently. Not to change what had happened, but to transform my relationship with it.

This Book May Be for You

Perhaps these pages will resonate with you if an experience from the past still lives within you. If you have lost someone, if you find it difficult to forgive others or yourself, or if you have had to rebuild yourself after pain.

It may also accompany you if you have spent a long time searching outside yourself for answers that only you can begin to discover, or if you simply feel that the time has come to return to yourself.

Perhaps you will find a part of your own story within these pages.

“When you stop running,
the heart shows you
the way back.”

An Invitation to Return to Yourself

Return to the Heart is a story of pain, loss, forgiveness, transformation, and love.

But above all, it is an invitation to discover that returning to the heart can change the way we look at our own story.

Three days may seem like very little time. Yet some forms of love do not need an entire lifetime to teach us what it means to love.

Return to the Heart is a true story. A story that began with loss and, over time, found a path toward the light.
